TAFE NSW and its Industry and Community Partners would like to invite you to SWAG! The annual Sydney Wearable Art Gala.

In November 2026, Sydney’s established and emerging wearable art creators will showcase their outrageous designs on stage at the iconic Enmore Theatre in front of a live audience.

SWAG is an exciting opportunity for wearable art makers to step out of the studio and on to the stage, and demonstrate their amazing skills while also raising money for charity.

In Gala’s passed we have been honoured to be joined by industry experts and entertainment icons such as Murray Cook (The original Red Wiggle!)  Kirsten Junor (recycling and sustainability expert), Rene Rivas (celebrated costume designer), Roger Leong (Snr Curator Powerhouse Museum),  Rosie Boylan & Rick McGill (world class Milliners), Tim Chappel (Academy Award winning costume designer for ‘Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’) and Jenny Kee (fashion designer extraordinaire).

Prize packages will be awarded to winners in each category, plus an additional Young Achievers Award for entrants 16-20 years old.
